A Tree for Baby

We are thrilled to be part of a wonderful idea established by a generous Bainbridge Islander.  Under a new program called "Reforest America, One Backyard at a Time," Bainbridge Gardens will supply one tree to the family of each child born this year to Bainbridge Island parents. Parents may choose a Western Red Cedar , Douglas Fir or Hemlock seedling. Bring in your child's birth certificate and we will give you your tree, and then watch as your child and your tree grow over the years. This program is being funded as a gift from a Bainbridge Island philanthropist, who wishes to remain anonymous.
